Police looking for car after Downtown Greenville gate damaged

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) –

Greenville police are asking for help identifying a driver of a vehicle that crashed into a gate along Furman Hall Way at the entrance to the SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities in downtown Greenville on Sunday.

PFC Johnathan Bragg said the crash occurred around 5:17 p.m.

“The vehicle should have damage to the front bumper and possibly right side,” Bragg said.  “There were small portions of the bumper molding recovered.”

Police ask anyone with information on the vehicle in question or identity of the driver to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
